Terms of Service

LumioBI provides a portal service and the Lumio PBI Chrome extension to help organizations organize and govern access to their Power BI and Fabric resources. By using the service or extension, you agree to use them only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these terms and your organization's policies.

You must use an account you are authorized to use. Your access to a portal is controlled by the relevant portal administrator and your existing Microsoft Power BI or Fabric permissions. LumioBI does not grant access to reports, workspaces, or data that your organization has not already authorized.

Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt to bypass security or access controls, reverse engineer the extension except where law permits, or use LumioBI to violate the rights of others. Administrators are responsible for configuring their portals and keeping approved-user access current.

LumioBI works with Microsoft Power BI and Fabric but is not Microsoft's service. Your use of Microsoft products remains subject to Microsoft's terms and your organization's agreements with Microsoft.

We may update, maintain, or change LumioBI and the extension to improve security, reliability, or functionality. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or address misuse.

If LumioBI designates access as beta, preview, early access, evaluation, or complimentary access, the service is provided for evaluation and testing. Beta functionality may be incomplete, contain errors, change materially, or become unavailable. Beta access is provided "as is" and "as available," without service-level, availability, support, or feature-continuity commitments, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Customers should maintain appropriate safeguards and should not rely on beta functionality for safety-critical or production-critical operations.

LumioBI may limit, modify, suspend, or end beta access, features, capacity, or eligibility at any time, with or without advance notice. If a customer has not previously used a standard LumioBI trial or paid subscription and a standard trial is then available, LumioBI may automatically transition the account into the then-current trial when beta access ends. Beta participation does not consume that trial period. LumioBI will notify the customer when the trial begins and identify its end date. The account's approved beta usage limits will remain available during that trial unless otherwise agreed.

Neither beta access nor a trial automatically becomes a paid subscription. LumioBI will not charge the customer without a separate affirmative purchase and acceptance of the price, billing period, renewal, and cancellation terms presented at checkout. If the customer does not purchase a paid subscription before the trial ends, LumioBI may suspend or terminate service access.

If an account is not eligible for a trial, or no trial is available, the customer may purchase an available paid plan or discontinue the service. After service access ends, LumioBI has no obligation to retain or provide an export of customer configuration or other service data, except as required by applicable law, the Privacy Policy, or a separate written agreement. LumioBI may retain backups, security records, billing records, and other records as described in the Privacy Policy.

Any suggestions or feedback concerning beta functionality may be used by LumioBI without restriction or payment, provided LumioBI does not publicly identify the customer without permission.

Subscription purchases and renewals are subject to the terms shown at checkout and our Refund Policy. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not itself create a prorated refund. Custom or negotiated order terms take precedence where applicable.
